Cookie
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1 1/3 cups plain flour, sifted
1/2 tsp baking powder
In a large bowl, add melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and whisk until combined.
Stir in flour and baking powder until a soft dough forms. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and freeze for 30 mins or until the dough is firm.
Preheat oven to 350F. Line tray(s) with baking paper.
Flour your rolling pin and roll out dough onto a floured surface approx 1/4 inch thick.
Before cutting the cookies out with cookie cutters. Spray all cookie cutters with cooking spray or coat them in flour to prevent sticking and then cut them out.
Place cookies on lined baking trays and bake in preheated oven for 12-15 mins. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
NOTE: Our cookie cutters are made from an Eco-friendly plant-based plastic, and are NOT dishwasher safe. Please wash the cutters in warm soapy water by hand only and store in dark and dry environment
